Stampin'UP Mother's Love Card and Bouquet Gift Box

Welcome to my Blog,
Today I want to share another Card and Gift Box set made with the Mother's Love Stamp set and Bouquet Bigz Die. Paying tribute to some of the Retiring In-Colors 2013-2015.

The Pop-Up-Book-Card  was designed by Deb Valder, I just used different colors and added some extra embellishments to coordinate with the gift box. Here is the Video Tuturial for the card.

I cut 2 of the small pansy flowers from the Bouquet Bigz die in Strawberry Slush to make the 3D flower on card and 2 long leaves from same die in Pistachio Pudding, I punched one Petite Petal for center of flower in Silver glimmer paper.

This gift box is inspired by the one posted on our 2015 Occasions Catalog pg. 30.

For this Box I used one of the Kraft Gift Boxes and decorated it with the All Abloom DSP stack paper, then I attached the Sahara Sand Lace Trim.
I used the Bouquet Bigz Die to make the 3 flowers, one large in Blushing Bride, one medium in Daffodil Delight and the small pansy in Strawberry Slush, the centers of flowers are in Sahara Sand CS, I cut 3 of the large leaves in Pistachio Pudding and 2 of the long leaves in Silver Glimmer paper.
I used the Build a Bouquet Stamp set and stamped each one of the flower petals with tone on tone ink colors as you see on picture above and I added one Something Borrowed Embellishment to the large flower center.

I hope you like this project and get inspiration to build your own or to give as gift to your Mom or Aunt or someone special. The card design from Deb Valder is so unique and it is not difficult to make and the flowers on the box turn out so gorgeous, I just want to keep looking at them :)
Thank you so much for visiting, and Have a Wonderful Day!

Stampin' Up Mother's Love and Painted Petals Gift Set

Pacific Point Color

Blackberry Bliss Color

Today I would like to share with you this Mother's Day Gift Set, made with the Stampin Up Mother's Love and Painted Petals stamp sets. It includes this beautiful purse big enough to hold a scarf or a piece of jewelry, or chocolates, a gift card and the list can keep going :) . I wanted to pair the purse with a matching card and I think the cascade card style goes really good with the purse design.

The Purse was designed by PaperCraft Button a very talented Stampin Up demonstrator from UK and here is the Video Tutorial to create the purse.

These are the changes I made to the Purse Flap:
Cut one piece of solid card stock at  5-1/2 X 4
Cut one piece of designer paper a  5 X 4
Using the largerst of the Floral Frames Collection dies, die cut one end of each of the flap pieces as shown on picture below.

Then attach both flap pieces from the straight side offsetting the petals on the other end. Score this piece at 2" and 2-1/4" fold scored lines and attach it to the back side of the purse box (use sticky strip or a strong adhesive here) and add velcro or magnets for the closure.
I embellished the Flap with a flower and leaves from the Flower Frenzy Bigz die which I then realized that matched perfectly with the flower frenzy when layering on top.

Here is the procedure I used to create the cascade card:
On a piece of card stock 8-1/2 X 11 divide it in 3 sections scoring on the long side at: 3-3/4, and 7-3/8
Then measure 4-1/4 and mark on righ side of paper and 6" on the left side. Then cut this diagonally starting from the 6" mark and ending on the 4-1/4 mark. Fold score lines mountain valley for form the card base. You can leave it with a straight top edge or step it up by decorating the edges like I did here using the Large Scallop Edgelit die.
I also embossed the center section with the Spring Flowers Embossing Folder, which coordinates with the designer paper and the stamp set.

Cut the card panels as follows:
Front panel (whisper white cs): 3-1/2 X 4-3/4
Center panel (whisper white cs): 3-1/2 X 5-1/4
Third Panel (designer paper): 5-3/4 X 3-5/8

*Note all the inside panels were cut with the Large scallop edgelit die on top edge as well, my technique to match panels with card base as close as possible was by placing the paper in front of the base and marking it on the opposite side or back side then cutting the scallops following the markings, see picture here:

Stamp and embellish your card as desired or you can follow what I did here. I really love the way it turned out, and the stamp sets are super cute!  you can create so many combinations of cards from the most simple to a more elaborated card those stamps look so elegant in any way you want.

Stampin' Up Life's Adventure Note Card Set

Today I would like to share with you this beautiful note card set, made with Life's Adventure Stamp set. This project was presented at a Stampin'Up Convention by their design team and I felt in love with the idea, the colors and the technique they used.

For the Note Card Bases you will cut the Shimmery White Paper following the template instructions here:
*The Shimmery White Paper has a unique finish and works very well with the water color technique.

Stamp images with Staz On ink and then color them using the Aqua Painters with your ink pads or ink refills allowing each color to dry before applying the next color.
To finish them up, add a layer for a Background with Soft Sky ink color.

You can make the 4 Envelopes with one 12 X 12 Sheet of Kraft Cardstock. Cut 4 pieces of 6 x 6 inches and then place the Gift Card Thinlit die as shown in the picture above.

After you assemble your envelopes you can embellish with your choice of DSP. On my sample here I used the 2015 SAB Best Year Ever DSP and punched one pansy flower and one Petite Petal to layer on top of each other and added a Rhinestone Jewel on center. The colors of the flowers are: Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana, Soft Sky and Calypso Coral.

I had so much fun creating this note card set you can make these sets in so many different colors, and add texture etc. I hope you get inspiration and decide to make this project, note card sets are an excellent gifts to friends or coworkers and great for teachers too!

Thank you so much for visiting and supporting my business,
Have a Wonderful Day!
